Senior AP English Students Complete Collage of Symbolism
Seniors in Mrs. Price’s AP English Class recently completed the novel 1984 by George Orwell. Written in 1948, the author swapped the last two digits while describing a future dictatorial society. Students were assigned a long project of building a collage of symbolism, quotations, keywords, and main ideas. As the class read the novel and the story unfolded, students added to the collage. The book is written in three separate parts, making the assignment quite a thought-provoking and lengthy journey.
