We’re excited to welcome all students and families back for a GREAT year at WPS!

Below is everything you need to know to start the year off strong.

📆 District-Wide Open House

🗓 Tuesday, August 12, 2025
🕠 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

All returning and new students must complete their online enrollment and have it approved before Open House Night.

(To prevent a backlog of enrollments and to prevent a delay in having your enrollment approved, please submit your online enrollment asap!

We need all enrollments submitted no later than August, 1^st.)

⚠️ Students will NOT receive their homeroom teacher assignment or class schedule without completing enrollment.

Washington Public Schools has moved to 100% online enrollment.

🏫 Incoming 6th Graders – Camp Warrior

🗓 Thursday, August 7, 2025
🕠 5:30 PM
📍 McAlister Gym

Camp Warrior is an important orientation for all incoming 6th-grade students and their parents.

• 🏫 Student Experience: Students will tour the middle school campus, learn about school life and expectations, and have their questions answered.
   

• 👨‍🏫 Parent Meeting: Parents will meet with Principal Justin Mann to discuss the upcoming year, review expectations, and address any questions.

• 📝 Schedules Issued:  If your 6th-grade student has their enrollment completed, their schedule will be sent out through ParentSquare before Camp Warrior. Schedules can also be picked up at that evening if all enrollment has been posted.

💻 WHS Chromebook Checkout & Counselor Availability

🕘 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Daily

Chromebooks will be issued, and high school counselors will be available on the following dates by grade level:

📝 Homeroom Teacher & Class Schedule Assignments

Washington Public Schools – 2025–2026 School Year

Before students can receive their homeroom teacher assignment or class schedule, online enrollment must be completed and approved for all returning students.

No schedules or homeroom assignments will be released without confirmed enrollment.

📚 How Will Schedules Be Distributed?

🏫 Elementary Students (Grades PK–5)

• ✅ Once enrollment is confirmed, homeroom teacher assignments will be sent out the day of Open House
  📅 Tuesday, August 12, 2025 (before Open House)
   

🏢 Middle School Students (Grades 6–8)

• ✅ After enrollment is completed and approved:
   

  • 📬 Schedules will be sent via ParentSquare on August 11 & 12
     

• 🧭 6th Grade Students Only:
   

  • Schedules will be sent via ParentSquare by August 7
     

  • Or handed out at Camp Warrior (enrollment must be completed prior)
     

🎓 High School Students (Grades 9–12)

• ✅ High school students will receive their schedules during their assigned Chromebook Checkout Day:
