Second Graders recently enjoyed a class project that let them use their creativity. Students learned about engineers and the process of ask, imagine, create, test, and improve. Students were instructed to draw a blueprint of an invention that they wanted to make. Then empty boxes and bottles were spread out on the floor. The students were asked to build their designs from the blueprint they submitted. Some of the items constructed were a net to scoop things that are high up, a back scratcher, a microscope, robots, and a structure of a horse.
